Krishnagiri is a serene city located in-between Hosur to Salem. Famously known as little England during the British era.
Krishnagiri is the head headquarters of Krishnagiri District in Tamil Nadu. Formerly this city was known by the name “ Ariyalur”. Later it was named as Krishnagiri due to the mass black granite hillocks found here ( Krishna- Black, Giri- hill). Krishnagiri mangoes are very famous as they are one of their kind and sweetest of all.
