Kutladampatti Falls is situated in Cholavantha village, near Madurai. This waterfall is less crowded and also very beautiful. The Tamil Nadu government has taken many steps to establish this falls as a famous tourist destination. Recently, a 2-kilometer-step trek to these falls was built for the convenience of the trekkers. The falls get their name from the village of Kutladampatti, in which they are located. This village and Kutladampatti Falls are located 30 kilometres from the district headquarters, less than an hour by road.
On the way to the Kutladampatti Falls, one can come across beautiful, huge rocks. The fresh water stream that descends down the rocks as Kutladampatti Falls rejuvenates the mind and soul of the visitor. People practice nature photography of the surrounding wilderness of the falls and enjoy bathing on the platforms under the cascade. This waterfall attracts a lot of visitors during its prime months.

Apart from this, there are two spiritual centres: a Buddhist meditation centre and the Ramangiri Ashram. These ashrams serve as the best spot to rejuvenate your tired mind and soul.

This falls is located just 30 km from Madurai town. There is lots of bus connectivity to these falls from the Madurai Periyar bus stand. Vadipatti village is located at a distance of 8 kilometres from these falls. It is also advisable to hire a taxi from Madurai to reach these falls.
