Sathanur Crocodile Farm is one of the most famous crocodile farms in India. It was established by the Tamil Nadu government in 1977. Sathanur is a small village in Tiruvannamalai district. This dam houses about 395 numbers marsh crocodiles (Crocodylus palustris) and a few fish grottos. This dam also has a well-maintained park to attract more tourists. Adjacent to this park is a small children’s park.

The crocodiles are fed 140 kg of beef for 2 days and 100 kg of fish.
